Vice President, Benefits Underwriting and Tax

Franca Stefenatti joined B&Co. in January 2016 and consults on all aspects of group benefits programs for various types of organizations. Franca has extensive experience in the industry and brings transparency to the offerings of the marketplace through her strong knowledge of the providers, their capabilities, and product offerings as well as common practices adopted by employers in the area of benefits.

Franca’s expertise includes assessment of renewals and risk-sharing arrangements, pricing, plan design, funding alternatives and related tax implications, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, advice for special risk coverage, and administration support. 

Prior to joining B&Co., Franca worked nine years as a benefits consultant and 18 years with two of Canada’s largest insurance carriers, managing clients and Group Underwriting departments.

Franca Stefenatti graduated in 1989 from York University, Schulich School of Business in Toronto with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specializing in accounting. Franca is also a fully licensed agent for Life, Accident and Sickness Products.
